The who, what, and where

I currently live in the San Francisco Bay Area where I am employed as the web content manager for Stanford University's Hoover Institution. Prior to this I was a technical writer at the San Diego Supercomputer Center on the University of California, San Diego campus. Before that I was a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Navy, flying SH-60F and HH-60H helicopters from various aircraft carriers around the world.

I graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine where I studied music and computer science. While I was in the Navy I earned a certificate in information systems and operations from the Naval Postgraduate School.
